There's a problem...

Hi!

First of all, I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who keeps playing and sharing Stroke. The support has been insane! But today, I’m making this quick post to let you know about an experiment i'm doing.

I recently looked at my analytics and realized something mind-blowing: about 83% of all the views I receive across my entire profile come ONLY from Stroke.

While I’m super grateful for this, it’s also really strange. It almost feels like my other projects—like my recent release, Elastic (https://fucu99.itch.io/elastic) are completely invisible or "shadowbanned" in comparison!

Now, to be clear: this is NOT Itch.io’s fault. The platform is great, and my games get indexed immediately as soon as I publish them. But because Stroke is taking up almost all the algorithm's attention, my other games aren't getting a chance to be seen.

  • The 1 Week Test

To test this theory, I am going to set the Stroke page to PRIVATE for exactly ONE WEEK.

My goal is to see what happens to the rest of my profile and whether my other games get a bit more visibility when the spotlight isn't 100% on Stroke.

Don't worry! After 7 days, Stroke will go back to being public as usual.

If you want to check out what else I’ve been cooking up during this week, please go take a look at Elastic and my other side projects!

Thank you all for your understanding!
