Stroke
Stroke is a fast-paced indie title that tests your reflexes, precision, and timing.

Jump straight into the action with responsive mechanics and a clean, minimalist art style designed to keep your eyes on the prize.
Whether you're trying to beat your friends or just looking for a quick, engaging challenge, this game delivers pure gameplay without the fluff.

Built from scratch in just 7 days of pure focus for the GDevelop Big Game Jam #9, this game takes a minimalist concept and turns it into a chaotic, addictive experience.
The core mechanic is entirely hands-on: you draw directly onto the screen to manipulate the environment, bypass hazards, and forge your own path to victory. You can put your skills to the test across 8 finely-crafted campaign levels that grow progressively more punishing, or bring a friend into the madness using the chaotic multiplayer mode to see who can survive the canvas.
Once you've conquered the official stages, the game opens up even further with a fully integrated level editor, allowing you to unleash your inner designer by literally drawing your own custom levels to construct unique, brutal challenges.

Really fun! This game has so much potential
So much fun, I did not even realise it was a submission for a game jam until I got stuck at level 4. It explains why the idea is so very original!
The game doesn't work. I press start a new game but nothing happened.
made an update that (hopefullly) fixes that. thanks for reporting this issue!
A few levels in and pressing Q doesn't show the colorpedia, pressing A and D still turn the pages but it's not showing. Reloading the page didn't solve this either, that's a shame, from what I've seen this is interesting.
great premise but horrible execution. this game has many small things that pile up and make the experience really bad, which is unfortunate cuz this game has a lot of potential. you can sometimes get stuck in walls, dying and resetting doesn't work properly, opening the colorpedia softlocks you, the tutorial is annoyingly long and unskipable, and your progress is never saved. the game would be 100 times way better if these small bugs were to be fixed.
for quitting the colorpedia you must use the "x" button! thanks for the constructive criticism! for little devs like me it means a lot!
glad i helped, maybe try adding text on screen that tells you how to quit the colorpedia?
yeah, i forgot to add it!
why do you indie devs not understand that when someone clicks on a web game they don't want to watch an overlong tutorial at the slowest text speed possible. and then i pressed reset once my guy got stuck and the whole tutorial restarted so i just closed the game.
Fine, i'll add a "skip tutorial" button! And... Just so you know, the tutorial introduces the colorpedia, that is a new mechanic in the game! I'm glad you played my game! Even if you closed because of the tutorial!
also you can't close the colourpedia which is annoying. The game is good but has small problems that make it stupidly annoying
You need to press x to close the book.
As my time spent on this planet grows longer, my memories of the past warp and skew. This game has unlocked forgotten memories and gifted me a stronger understanding of what the internet was like in "the before times". Bravo!
I really like it, engaging game.
